Rules of Play

We hope you enjoy your visit today and respectfully ask all visitors adhere to the following rules:
COVID-19: You MUST NOT visit this facility if you or any member of your family or group are unwell or have recently been unwell (within 48 hours)
1. Parents/guardians (18+ years) must supervise and accompany children and they remain their responsibility at all times. Staff are not provided to supervise children using the facilities
2. The equipment is suitable for children aged 0-6 years (or under 125cm in height). Adults are NOT PERMITTED to use the slides
3. Parents/guardians must remain within the building at all times
4. No smoking (including e-cigarettes) is permitted anywhere in The Kinder Hub
5. The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited in The Kinder Hub
6. No chewing gum on the premises
7. Shoes, food, drink, sharp objects, jewellery, loose items (pens, lighters, mobile phones etc), clothes with ropes/chords or any object that could cause harm must be removed before entering the play equipment
8. Socks must be worn at all times
10. No ride on cars or bikes allowed on the climbing frame
11. We do not advise adults accompany children on the play frame. Adults MUST NOT use the slides
12. Children aged 3 years and above must not play in the toddler area
13. Children aged 2 years and under must play in the toddler area, unless fully supervised by an adult
14. Climbing up the slides is strictly prohibited, vacate the landing area at the bottom of the slides immediately
15. Long sleeves and trousers are advised when coming down the slides to prevent friction burns
16. Please keep your arms crossed across your chest when sliding down the slides
17. Do not throw play equipment. Do not take any play equipment into the cafe area
19. Children who are ill must not use the facilities. Should your child become unwell during your visit you may be asked to leave. We may offer a Free Play voucher to visit at a later date in this case
20. All personal items should remain with parents/guardians. We do not accept any responsibility for any personal belongings at any time
21. Staff will check play areas regularly to ensure equipment is safe and clean. However, please report any defects to a member of staff immediately
22. There are several timber structures; please do not allow your child to pick at them, to avoid causing harm
23. We request that you do not open or allow your child to open any external gates or emergency exits except in the event of a fire or other emergency evacuation. Children MUST be supervised at all times, including outdoors
24. Abusive, aggressive, or any unsuitable behaviour towards staff or guests will not be tolerated
25. No photography without prior permission
26. Please be aware we have CCTV recording at The Kinder Hub
The Kinder Hub encourages children to play, explore and have fun in a safe and stimulating environment. Our play facilities pose inherent risks such as, but not limited to, tripping, falling, and bumping into objects and other children. Although we take every reasonable step to control these risks through the design, maintenance, and operation of the facility, parents/guardians recognise and accept this risk upon entry. The Kinder Hub accepts no liability for any loss (including theft), damage or personal injury, unless due to our negligence or other breach of duty. This includes the car park.
